BND is involved with the project roadway, general plan development, track alignment, grading/drainage, milling and resurfacing of the Miami International Airport Intermodal Center (MIC) and the Earlington Heights (EHT) Connector.  BND Engineers is also responsible for providing utility plans including water and sewer relocation plans.

Comprised of:

The connector between the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) and the Earlington Heights (EHT) Metrorail Station, the MIC/EHT Connector, consists of an extension to the Metrorail (elevated, heavy rail) line by approximately 2.2 miles.  The MIC/EHT Connector improves the existing transportation system by providing a transit connection to Miami International Airport (MIA) via the MIC.  The proposed MIC will contain various transportation modes: a terminus for Tri-Rail, a hub for buses, an Amtrak station, and the MIC-MIA people mover system
